Quite a few hairline cracks, so we soaked Kiurushi into them. We apply gold to the broken line to highlight the line. 小さなヒビがあちこち入っていたので、生漆を染み込ませました。釉薬の色と似ているので目立たないと思います。割れのお直しに金を蒔きました。✨️ #kintsugi #金継ぎ

Beautiful pitcher. We apply fine urushi on silver for the shine and the durability. Because of the protective layer, it will take a long long time for silver to get patina. We think the patina will look great on this piece. 粉固めしてあるので、とてもゆっくり、大体２年ぐらい

Our neck is so stiff from working on kintsugi. We know we need to exercise, but we bought Nishikawa pillows from Japan instead. 細かい作業で首肩バッキバキなので、西川の枕を購入。アメリカからだと買える種類が限られていて、欲しかった枕は手に入らず。運動が大切とは分かりつつ、枕での改善を期待しています。 #kintsugi #nishikawapillow #西川の
