Maiko is from Japan and studied art therapy and printmaking. Joseph studied glass and ceramics, and worked as a glassblower in Seattle for seven years.

We have a deep interest in craft and materials. Our obsession with the amazing material “urushi” (Japanese lacquer) drew us to be Kintsugi craftspeople. We import materials from Japan and focus on the traditional Japanese Kintsugi method which uses all natural materials.

We are currently located in Baldwin City, Kansas (USA) to focus on Kintsugi repair and our other crafts. Keep an eye out for future products! You can click the link to our Etsy shop.
